Well I took the colt to the track this weekend. My second time making a pass at the strip but my 1st time in a fwd. I got to make 4 passes.

1st-60' 2.7 - 1/4 14.6 - mph 101
2nd-60' 2.5 - 1/4 14.4 - mph 101
3rd-60' 2.5 - 1/4 14.3 - mph 100
4th-60' 2.3 - 1/4 13.8 - mph 102

This was my 1st time launching a FWD car ever on bald fuzion zri's and I mean bald. Im trying to get some vids from my friend. Im very pleased with this simple setup

Nice job, I couldn't cut 2.3 60' with good summers.

very nice.. i ran on friday and wasnt to happy till i got home with 0 broken parts lol.. seems we have about the same times.. i ran a 14.320 @ 100.42 mph with a 2.452 60'... on almost the same setup.. (mines a 2.3 bottom end) 14b on 13 psi.. street tires really do suck at the track on fwd for sure.

talking with other fwd guys.. this trap speed is good for low 13s high 12s on slicks..

so good luck on your next time out if u have any slicks..im gonna try to get some in the next month and go out again.

On drag radials.auto trans.launching @ 5 psi and no traction thru 2nd.

To be honest some how i bogged every launch then i would just hammer it. But the 1.6 didn't spin the tires as hard as I thought it would. I gonna borrow a set of radials next time out

nice... I forgot to mention on both my runs.. I launched at 1200-1500 cause of the wheel spin..

make sure u post up some new times when u get them..hopefully the slicks will help alot.

That 2.3 60' looks good. My best pass with a 1.6/14b/smic/1gmas/450 injectors for comparison: 2.604 60', 14.605 @ 99.15 mph.

The last run i tried to launch at 4k and still bogged it some how. But im very pleased

Those are some really decent trap speeds for that setup. What kind of gas were you running?
