Two in-car videos of my runs.
http://lilevo.com/lilevo2/gld2009/run.wmv
http://lilevo.com/lilevo2/gld2009/run2.wmv

My best was only a 12.1 @ 113 with a 1.77 60' (no timing pulled). I ran two 12.3's at 114 and 117 with timing being pulled due to knock. My car is missing some serious power/top end somewhere. I was going faster without the Magnus SMIM and a stock, rod-knocking motor last fall.

This is a 35R, 22-25psi, Magnus SMIM, built motor, 272s, etc.

Something is WAY wrong..

I was trapping low 120s on stock engine/intake. 35r, 280s and 23psi on a chipped ECU

What are you tuning with? and whats your timing at WOT

Something odd happening up top, it really seems to be losing power on the big end.

I'm sure you'll get it figured out and report back with better times.

Hi Jason,
You also have to consider that a 35r likes boost. It will be awake at 30 and fully awake at 35.
Regardless, there it something wrong.
My trim 50 with stock cams and 30psi with a full weight car is pushing me to 128 mph.

You seem to have a good transmission that shifts well. 12.1 for 113mph means good traction and good shifting!
Can you prvide us with a DSMlink log?

AEM EMS.

This is the calibration I used during my first 2 runs. Timing map looks "normal", but you will see the areas of knock voltage spikes. (12.3@117, 12.3@113)
http://lilevo.com/lilevo2/gld2009/logs/ ... .V1.19.cal

Here are the logs of the first two runs

http://lilevo.com/lilevo2/gld2009/logs/12_3_113.stf

This is my modified third run (12.1@113) calibration. I just pulled timing back over 7000RPM to get rid of the retard since I figured it was real knock.

Here is the log of that run

Went back today after some ignition timing tweaking. Still dealing with some knock volt issues and timing retard. Still not where it should be.

Nice. 120mph on pump gas is nothing to shake a stick at. Run like 28psi and like 2 degrees of timing and see what happens. 8)

What was your 8th time and trap on the 11.6@120?

Are you running meth or just straight pump? I'd throw in some of the good stuff, may shed some light.

We'd be dead even. :drinkers:

Any chance you are knocking a shit ton? Seems like it by all the times and speeds - makes less and less power under more load. I'd throw in some octane strictly for debug purposes and see what happens.

It is picking up knock. If you know anything about AEM EMS and the logs you can take a look at them
http://www.lilevo.com/lilevo2/gld2009/9_9/

STF file is the datalog.

It's pulling back 3-5 degrees of timing in a few spots in 2nd gear, all through the top of third gear, and two spots in 4th gear. (I'm at 13 degrees all through the power band at 22-24psi)

throw some c16 in the tank (even half and half) just to try to eliminate the knock. yes, it will slow down through the traps due to retarded timing, but adding some timing and pulling fuel will net you another 5 or 6 mph i would imagine with race/pump mix
