who gives a rats ass about wieght transfer, you DO NOT want the ass of that car hopping around at 170ish mph, especially after you let off the gas and are on the brake real hard to get stopped in time. feel free to use the 350# springs but add some ballast back there to soften it up a bit. and if you have agx's run em soft.

I have a fwd dsm trans on some big et streets 16x10 I think. JP has gone 190+ on this gearing.
200+ :axe: With 225/45/17's I crossed 200mph around 7800rpm.

If you have at least 3/4 mile shutdown, stock brakes will work fine, just Pump them-and downshift- they will insta warp if you just stand on them

Also-from experience the Hatches get very sketchy with stock aero above 170mph. With 500whp, you probably wont be going much faster, but if the back end feels "light" dont push it!

And- have fun. :)

Im going to lower it as much as possible. I have never had the ass feel light before and have gone 150-160+. Any other ideas I can do to keep it stable at speed?

Lowering is a great start-

Also-anything you do to increase downforce, do it to both sides! That is- if you make a front air damn/splitter, add a wing int he back...ect. Downforce needs to be equalized or you will experience end or the other getting "light" as the downforce'd end is being pushed down.

With your HP and likley 170-180ish traps- I think you will be fine with just lowering the car.

first pass 169
second pass 171

The headgasket is blown and filling the overflow but it reved clean and did not overheat. Transmission isnt shifting. Had a hard time getting it into every gear. Launched in second on the second pass and rolled out to eliminate a gear change but everyshift still required a few tries to get into gear. Boost was at 26psi. Had about 30min of tuning on dsmlink ver3 and 1600s on e85. Saw lean afr on the first pass but no knock, maybe a half degree. E85 is the shit. I dont know where to begin on explaining what I did to this car in the last month but its a whole different animal. I want to replace the gasket and shim the fulcrom ball and go back, I had a blast.

Great job. Very respectable numbers for a first event.

I was rooting for you, man! I need to check in with my buddy in Oklahoma to find out what he ran with his busa....I told him to retire at 200mph, but I bet he showed up again this year.

What was wrong with the transmission?

Here is an idea how the car was running on the 171mph pass. Second gear launch and struggled with every gear thereafter.

Here is a link to the results. If you look at the times of the stock z06's you can tell the radar was reading low at the event, people are saying 8-10mph less than gps.

I have to say that I'm impressed! It's pretty easy to get these cars up to speed quickly. My 92 would jump up to speed. I had a F4M22 in my 92 with a 4g61t and it hit 90 in 3rd FAST! 0-60 times had to be in the 5 second range even though traction on the 13" wheels was a huge issue. That was only at around 14 psi on a 14b and all the other 63t goodies. I'd like to get my bearings, rotors and brakes, and all bushings replaced and take it out with the semi-built 63t with the b16g on it and see how fast I can get it up to with my KM210 in it.

I have not been on it a while- but GREAT WORK!!! Its a great start-with a working trans you would have been in the low 180's for sure.

And WHY am I not in Miami again?! When are they having the next event down there? And is it North or South of downtown?

Their is two organizations running mile events at this runway. Topgunrun and milemarker-1. Someone is running an event every month or so. A couple weeks ago a Ford gt tt went 252 I believe.
