Hi All,

I have 24x8.5x15 good used slicks in my garage.

I want your advice on rim 4x114 15" I can buy from a junkyard (car/model/year) ?

And is somebody try it on is dropped CSM? Fit well?

Thanks, colt92t

24" is about the tallest I would ever go on a CSM, especially if it's lowered a lot. You'll probably need spacers for a 8.5" wide slick, and at least a 7" wide rim. There weren't too many cars that came from the factory with 15x7 wheels and a 4x114.3 bolt pattern from the factory. You can try an early Nissan 240SX (S13 chassis).

Thank you Tonus,

Anybody has an opinion of what is the best fit for CSM 22" ? On 14 or 15 rim ?

(Sorry, my Slicks correct dimension is 24.5/8/15 MT)

Anywhere from 22-23.5 is pretty common around here. I'm pretty sure there are guys running 24's. Their cars look a little ridiculous like that, but whatever works. I'd stick to a 15" rim diameter, it's a much more common size for slicks and wheels.

Crusherbait runs 24x8.5x15 with no spacers on his csm looks mean but he runs coilovers ....Offset of the rim is a huge part in getting them to fit nice....

Wow, I didn't realize his slicks were so big. Do you know what the offset/width of his wheels is?

The rims you see in the photo are Centerline Monsoon Storm’s, 15*7-5.671” backspacing. They fit real nice with the M&H 24.5*8.5*15-MHR25’s. I got those two beauties on sale thru summit a while back. They’re not on sale anymore though. The wheel and tire(no tube) weigh about 28lbs. That’s a great weight if you’re into un-sprung thing.

Try these out, but call or e-mail and find out what the shipping weight is and deduct 1-1.5lbs for the box.

Lastly, I do run coil-overs and it’s tight like a mofo.

Wow, thanks for the info. I think it is more easy to buy new wheels in place of trying to find rims that fit well.

It is the first time that I hear about backspacing? What does it mean?
