Went to the semi-local strip tonight, like no one was there because of a fair chance of rain so I got to make quite a few passes.

New best was on the 4th pass.
60'- 2.23
1/8- 8.87 @ 87 mph
1/4- 13.46 @ 120 mph

With was on a pretty crappy tune @ 20-21 psi pump on a B16G. I need to upgrade these damn 550s. I'm maxing then out already.

I definately need some more seat time, stutterbox is set for 3750 and the lowest I cut was a 2.17. I should be able to get down to a 2.0 with these MT radials.

I ran 3 or 4 13.6's and a couple 13.7s. All in all I'm happy to finally get into the 13s, cut .6 off my previous time and added 9 mph to my trap.

Nice! That's about exactly what mine runs. I remember your build thread, with the red talon ricshaw. LOL

Nice to see you have it going.

Yeah what he said. 120 is flyin'! I did a 13.448 and only trapped 102 mph. My best top speed ever was 106.81, so yeah, wow! The funny thing is, I did a 2.17-60' on all season radials, so I would have expected better 60's on drag radials.

Just noticed this post, nice work on the traps! Thats a good sign of how the motor is running, its obvious those short times are the weak link and gaining 33 mph on the big end translates into major time if you can cut just .2-.4 seconds off your 60'.

Just to reference: Jared (redline89) went 11.7 @ 117 mph, 1.71 60'...Paul (240addiction) did 11.6 @ 118 1.8 60'. If you can swing the money for some slicks, you would likely be entering the 11 second club 8) .

Keep us posted.

Damn, that's a huge increase in speed between the 1/8th and the 1/4. Nice top-end. With a better launch you could easily drop an entire second or more off your ET.

So apparently the trap was off last time I went to the track. I'm going to guess I was trapping 110-112. I calulated my tire size and gear ratio and that makes much more sense, although my speedo and ecmlink say 120+.

I went up last nigth to see if I could do any better. The track wasn't prepped at all, only people hooking up were awd cars. RWD DR cars were pulling 2.0-2.1s... I was running a consistant 13.5 @ 110-111 with 2.2-2.3 60's. Pulled 2 13.3's

Best run was -

60'- 2.23
1/8th- 8.87
1/4- 13.38 @ 110

I couldn't get my boost any higher then 21 psi except for the last pass cause one of my mbc wouldn't go any higher. I was running a dual stage setup with 16 psi for 1st and 2nd and switching to 21 psi for 3rd and 4th. I ditched that on the last run and got my originally low mbc up to 25 psi. I'll have to get those mbc's switched and tune for 27-28 psi before I go again. Only change were my injectors, I switched to some 1000cc's.

Those damn lying trap estimaters! Rumor has it that the left lane traps slightly higher (2-4mph) at Bandimere...but they just replaced all the timing equipment for this year so it seems more accurate.

I would definately try a better prep track. There is another track about 2 hours from here and a nice 1700 ft lower elevation, but the prep is so bad that most high hp guys find they are faster at bandi even with slower trap speeds. I was .3-.4 seconds slower at the crap track but my traps were 2-5 mph higher.

You should still easily get those 12's if you could just get it through the 1/8th better.

I will get boost up to whatever maxed out my 16g and then head to a track in Epping, NH. It's about an hour farther but I'll bring some extra axles and hopefully I'll see some mid 12's and some better 60's.
