Finally, some people convinced me to put my car on the dyno...
I like this thing a lot! We have been able to tune the car a lot more agressively than my 11.59's settings. This was on a mustang dyno.

Car setup:
Stock Cams
AEM cam gear
stock 7.8:1 bottom end
stock head and ports
PTE SCM5031 RE (Trim 50 ball bearing)
Spearco Intercooler
3 inches exhaust
Maf2G
DSMlink
Q16 in the tank

- 1st pull 329 whp were done on the first pull @ 29 psi.

I thought my settings were hard on the timing side with 24 degrees at the end of the pulls... Guess what, we cranked it up to 28 and i bumped up the boost to 32 psi.

- 2nd pull 369 hp with 374 tq

- 3rd pull was 375hp with 374 tq

Here is the graph, notice how smooth the curve is and how wide it is.

Cant wait to try with these settings on the track, probably not before next year.

That PTE5031RE has a T-25 turbine inlet right? And this was done on the 2.0L? What do you rev to?

It's a Mitsu bolt-on turbo.

The inlet is 3inches, it is a T04E garett housing. Turbine housing is the PTE .63 AR mitsu flange type.

It is a 2.0liter usually shift at 8000rpm on the track, but based on my dyno results I should change gear earlier.

Hmmm... alright then. What clutch are you using to shift at 8000rpm? And I am assuming this is on the stock 1G FWD transmission?

What was your best trap speed with this setup? How much does the car weigh just out of curiosity.

128mph with very different settings (lower timing). And the car is 2490 with me in it.

Damn dude, that's insane for stock cams. If you opened that thing up a little bit with bigger cams and possibly an intake manifold you'd probably see some impressive gains.

The first thing I will change is the Throttle body and improve the IC piping a bit. Eventhough my cams are from an ATX 1G, I believe there is still room for improvement. I am not a big fan of porting and SMI, I believe we do not exploit the knowledge of mitsu's engineers at its full potential ;)

From what I have seen, SMI will only give a peak of hp, with only a trim 50 it is an advantage to get a wide powerband by keeping the stock intake. Numbers on the dyno are oftenly not representative of the real potential of a car.

I have an amazing spearco core. It keeps things cooler than most of the IC we can find for cheap these days. So that helps to push the turbo at high boost levels.
