So We had an import event at a local track today (sunday) , which absolutely SUCKED. I filled up on 110 oct. thursday and did a quick tune, and went to the track friday. The best i could manage was a 11.7 @ 122 with a 1.86 60' I was NOT happy. I ran it twice and they were damn near identical. Some of you may remember my turbo thread. its trashed. literally I'll get some pics if interesed
So we took the car back out saturday added some timing. It was at 17* WOT and we bumped it up to 22* with out any knock. And it felt a bit better. The boost was on 28-29PSI and was holding steady. Things were looking good for sunday.
Sunday comes. We get up WAY to early to go to the track. We were like the 5th car there. oooops. I thought they opened alot earlier then they did.
I made my first pass around 9:30 AM. The car went 11.9 @ 125 with a high 1.8 60' I was happy. Met one of my goals for the day. I has set a few goals. either 125 or 11.5x or better. So i was already happy enough. I threw some ice on the JMF and let it cool down and went back out. Oh yeah. I had to raise my rev limiter, from 8 to 8.5 as i was on it when going threw the traps at 125. GRR
So i get back up and Go for it. the launch felt terrible and the car ran great. I clicked a 11.7 @ 128mph. 1.8x 60' HOLY shit. I was flipping out. It couldnt be. had to be a error. this turbo is a POS and it just went 128mph. So i let it cool some more and went back up, another 11.7 @ 128 with another junk 60' Now i'm feeling AWESOME. Im pretty excited. The car was rolling out. and it was the highest trapping car there. I probably made 10 passes today. All with in 11.6-11.8 @ 127-128. i finally got a good 60' 1.67 but it was during a bracket race, and i let off

One of my good buddies has a built SR240 he managed to trap 131 and backed it up with a 129! It was pretty bad ass to know that 2 cars. street driven. We drove to the track. Made a ton of passes. then drove home.
