well all runs staying in it were 12.3 or faster and at 115 mph no matter to the et. it gets a little squirrelly on the 1-2 shift with the n2o. My best 60' was 1.9 and ran a 12.4 but let out for the bracket racing win. I got some knock on that run so it would not have been the 11 I was so hoping for. more details and vids later.
Thanks guys.

Are you planning on going to a bigger hit? Also what are you using to activate it?

ya probably just the 50 shot. Link, have the arm switch next to the dimmer and have it activated from 2188 to 6988 pull 2 deg of timing, throttle above 99%, and under 3 knock. I only had one run that I got a lot of knock and I could feel it shut off and then come back on, it was the best 60' of the day 1.901. I really need suspension, the car launches like a stock 1g

here is the story.
Got to the gate about 8:20, I was pretty nervous all morning and did not really sleep much the night before. Waiting in line I had a few folks that knew of the CSM's in the area and knew they were fast, but really not a lot of interest in the car. I go to tech and luckily got a really nice guy, sometimes the muscle car guys are dicks and give us some crap about imports. I had my helmet and jacket, so they really had nothing to fry me about, they Ok'd the bottle and I went ahead and tech'd for the year, figured it would save me time at pinks and test & tune. get back and we waited for about 20 minutes and were called for our first time trial of the day. 89mirageturbo and his sr powered 240 with some nice mods is there as well as another friend with a STI. we all go down I think that I was the first one out of us three. Luckily I got good luck kiss from my better half before that race, but I was still pretty dang nervous. first time running the car with a fast setup in two years.
1st race
I must had triple checked the N2O bottle three times and made sure it was on, put the helmet and jacket on and I was ready. I was in the right lane because I prefer it. My turn I pull to the lights flip the n2o switch to arm the system. pre-stage, stage, I then mash my foot on the brake as hard as I can and grab the shifter box (four button IPT electromatic controller that shifts the trans) and start to floor it, not all the way but about 75% throttle. The CRX I was racing was boosted and on slicks. He stages and the rpms are climbing they get to about 2100 and the lights start to drop. Let off the brake and mash it to the floor, she is a little slow out of the hole, but then the n2o comes on and holy shit hang on the revs go to 7k pretty quick. Hit the button for two and the thing shifts hard, I have a built trans with a shift kit, kicked the car a little of out of the groove but still moving along and just when I calm down I have to hit the button for third. Nice firm shift the car is still moving along get thru third and have to go into fourth and the race is over. I won, I finally took a deep breath, I usually dont breath when in the middle of the pull. I am really getting excited. have no clue what I ran.....12.315@115.68. OMG I start to freak out I cant believe it......first pass in the low 12's last time I had the car out I could not get a single other 12.9......pull to the water sprayers and get the intercooler and trans cooler wetted down. What a high. I was still amazed it ran the time. Great stuff.
here are the stats
R/T .184
60' 2.162
330 5.415
1/8 8.077
mph 93.05
1000 10.365
1/4 12.315
mph 115.68

2nd pass

Still kind of nervous.....got the car stalled a little better and it really seemed to get with it a little better. I still lost to a 12.0 honda, there were some really fast hondas out, the made up more than half the field of imports.

R/T .151
60' 2.162
330 5.403
1/8 8.058
mph 93.3
1000 10.342

mph 115.92

3rd pass

Against another honda on DR. I finally got the car to stall up nicely and it started to pull my thru the lights....so that was the cause of the bad reaction time. Oh man did it leave hard this time, scared me a little on the 1-2 shift as it caught really hard and was really moving at this point, still got be by the honda. 11.7 to my 12.0. I was ecstatic at this point....it kept getting faster and faster. I could not believe it. so being the typical guy I dialed in at an 11.95 thinking I would get my wanted 11.

4th pass
This is what is hard about bracket racing.....right here. 17.20 vs 11.95 I had to wait forever.....I stalled for way too long and the car got hot at the line and started to knock right out of the hole. I stayed in it knowing if knock got too bad the n2o would shut off and I was plagued by the on and off knock for the rest of the run. I caught him and left off. best 60' foot of the day, waiting at the line really helped stall and was really building boost. could have been the 11 pass I was looking for, but I was slowing down towards the end of the track.

5th pass

I had to wait again against a 15.95 spec v. the launch was not there but I still caught her at the end of the track and shut it down.

R/T .043
60' 2.290
330 5.566

mph 93.33
1000 10.502
1/4 12.475
mph 108.66 again had to let off for the bracket win.

6th and final pass.
This one was against a friend of mine and he had the consistent Lexus so he took me out....oh well I had a great time and nothing broke.

Overall it was a great day. Lots of passes I was very happy to get the seat time I really needed. A lot of people came over and admired the car, most could not believe it. I told them "ya it is an auto AWD car" they say "auto? really?" me "ya, and AWD" them "wait it is AWD?" me "yes" them "that is freaking sweet" I must have had this conversation 3 different times. There was only about three dsm's up there and quite a few evo's. one dsm 1g guy said he is converting over to an auto, "I am sick of the stupid 5spd breaking". I also weighed the car with me and a full tank of gas about 2800 lbs. little heavy, but that 1 g owner weighed in at 3300...still 500lbs better. sorry for the long post, I am still excited.
Paul

First off congrads on the times...If you want to improve your sixty set the enable rpms for nos lower like 2000 rpm's your rpms drop from when you let off the brake and that's why it takes a second for the nos to hit....

I have a feeling john might be catching you faster than you think...Sucka.. Oh i can talk shit cause i'm faster than you biotch...I'm not parting my car if you haven't figured out just down grading to a 16g too....

But seriously there are some fast csms in colorado it awsome...I wish i still had one but i guess i will have to stick with this heavy sled....

well I think the low rpms make it bog a little, I was just trying to get the seat time in, I will start to mess with it this next week. I might head to test & tune and try the 50 hp shot.
is john being secretive too? I am still on a evo 3 GT that you had, that turbo has proven itself big time, might tear up a little when it comes off......
Why to a 16g? are you still going Auto?

look at the 1000' mark I was slowing down, could have been another 12.0 but would have been close.

Just think, if George gets his into the 12's, that will be the 5th CSM to run 12's at Bandimere. I have a feeling Paul will be the next CSM into the 11's and John may also be joining the 11 second club. Not to mention there are several other's that havn't made it to the track and a grip of 13 second CSM's.

Its damn near impossible to sneek up on anything now. Everyone knows about our cars.
