Some good guesses out there it seems.

Update: Everything is buttoned up, oil changed, I hit her with a water hose and gave her a spin around the block. Runs good, absolutely no traction in 3rd still. The NLTS is also not going to be in operation, I'm gonna have to power shift this bish like always. They say it can cut .5 in big turbo-small engine cars...I was thinking maybe .3 but since I've also never used it, I'm not really upset.

Wish me luck on being the first 4g61t into the 11's. :jive:

In my car, using NLTS was a night-and-day difference. It helped SO much. I'm willing to bet my setup is laggier than yours even on a 2.0.

MMM, you make good points too. I know it will help me a bit, going to the lighter flywheel changed how much inertia the engine held between shifts. There is a noticable delay between shifts before boost builds now but I'll just have to drive around it.

I still think mid 11's are very reasonable though.

What kind of tranny do you have in there that lets you use the NLTS without giving you hell?

My tranny is a stock KM210, the NLTS helps stock trannies shift faster by slowing down the engine rpms. Whats hell is trying to make the 1-2 shift bouncing off the 8,000 rpm limiter.

I'm surpised you don't rev that thing higher. I would think that you'd have to being that it is so small. What intake manifold are you running?

Stock intake manifold, 63t throttle body. I don't have valve springs, like a said, stock internal 4g61t with 272's. I'm not sure it would be any faster after 8K anyway. The high elevation air really sucks the life out of a turbo the higher in the rpms you go. A 50 trim is struggling to make 30 psi at this elevation, had to max out my Hallman pro to see 30.5 psi...thats all she has.

Yeah, on a stock intake manifold there isn't much reason to rev past 8k rpm. I really can't believe how fast your car is for the mods you have, it's sort of hard to swallow. Haha.

Even that 10.9 needs some work. I bet it could go 10.30-10.40s with some practice. 134 is some Good MPH.

Heres a vid of our FWD 420a car going 11.0@123

LOL, this is an older thread but just to clear it up.

My best street tire pass was an 11.91 @ 129.5
Best slick pass was a 10.99 @ 134.4

The new motor and mods Jared has done are showing some crazy numbers...I think low 10's are easily in reach now, even with nearly 300 lbs more weight.
