Hot damn, that's awesome. Still on the 50 trim? What's the race weight of that car?

Well, luckily for me the short times are pure crap! Which means there is plenty of room for improvement.

My 60 foot was 1.94 and the 1/8th was 7.51 @ 99 if my memory serves me correctly.
Ill confirm tonight when I get my hand on the slip.

I was launching the M/T 24.5*8*15 in second gear by slipping my ACT2100 and 6puck sprung disc setup.. It is soooo much smoother for the drive train, but a lot more difficult to control the wheel spin. An electronic boost controller will be thrown into the car next spring and stiffer front suspension with a lower rebound to avoid the nose from lifting this high.

Definately this internally gated SCM5031RE from PTE really impresses me! This turbo is very happy over 32 psi. Next time Ill try to disconnect the gate actuator and see what happen.

Yup! on saturday, you missed a hell of a great show!
Super street power adder class had over 20 cars with 12 or 13 DSMs. One of us won with a mid 10 pass.

Awesome man. Have you ever had the car on a dyno?

I can't believe you're doing this on stock cams. What do you rev the car to?

I try to keep it under 8200 rpm, because there is no power gain higher than that.

Wow, definately getting work done on the big end.

My 10.9 @ 134.4 was a result of better short times

60' --- 1.81
1/8 et --- 7.24
1/8 mph --102.9
1/4 et ---10.996
1/4 mph --134.44

Jared's 10.9 @ 130.8 was even better (new owner of the Black Widow)

60' --- 1.70
1/8 et ---7.15
1/8 mph --106.25!!!
1/4 et --- 10.96
1/4 mph --130.81

The car was breaking up for some reason up top and we just couldn't seem to get the tune right for anything over 27 psi on the 50 trim. He is hoping to go back and get that mid 10 we thought it could do with some better tunning and a few minor changes.

Just imagine what your car could do if you lightened it up a little...just 200 lbs would likely put you easily into the 10's, even with similar short times. Just a thought.

Thank you dragstr4g61t for the time comparision and explanation.
I definately need to get some traction. Here are the reason the car spun so badly:

- Old slicks almost shot
- Front suspension way to permissive on the rebound side. (GR2s with ground controls 300lb)
- Launching in 2nd gear with 30 psi of boost under antilag (this was the only way to launch without slipping too much the clutch.)

And yes, the car is heavy. Full interior was in.
I definately want to be able to launch from first gear, but my tranny wont shift 1-2 at high RPMs, I need to fix this issue.

So, in order to reduce the ET:
- New Slicks
- Koni yellow inserts in the front
- AVC-R electronic boost controller
- Get tranny to shift
I am not foreseeing any significant weight reduction as I am using the car on a daily basis and like the confort of it.

I am confident that high 10s will be easily achievable with those mods. Cheching! $$ again.... and again

Thank you hemi! I have had the car for 8 years soon and always drove it on a daily basis. First pass ever was in 2003... I ran 16.4 @ 83 mph

If you look at it this way: it is only 5.1 seconds quicker and 47mph faster now.... Sounds like no improvement compared to the amount of bacon that was thrown on that little pink box.
