Talk is budget-friendly.
This is true.
Now regarding 'lumpy', define 'street car' because if you're going to go into the 9's it will be hard to be street driven. But if you want to know the fastest CSM period then I'm pretty sure it's Francois Villeneuve's colt that went 9.70 and now he has a 94 mirage that went 9.42 @ 154.8, but then again this doesn't fall into your specs because he lives in Montreal haha.
And its gutted...

And its Auto....

And its Air to Water-1 pass and your done...

High stall converter......

On the bottle......
And it has a 1 piece front end--its a hot rod class car--its still fast just not for the class its in and has bigger slicks then are allowed in Turbo Street-26". But I have an auto now so I don't wanna hear no crying hehe.

already know this mannnnnnnnnnnnnn i dont really care about a budget, so believe me im dangerous, like i said just be ready......youll see my car soon enough........i just hope you like my chute on the back of it
Hope your well under way I about finished myself I will be out testing in march hehe. But if you have the funds its be easy to beat me, I coming out to test the auto on a 50 trim. After all the bugs are out real fund begins.

Paul what tires and suspension mod's were on your car for those passes?
M&H racemaster slicks 23x7.5x15. I did the whiteline springs, GR2's, and super pro suspension busings. I am still getting a lot of motor movement with filled stock motor mounts, and will be making custom solid 75A durometer polyurethane inserts. I feel this should help out that lagging 60' time a bit.
If you're looking for good returns on speed parts, I picked up a half second with just springs and bushings.

Just make one solid mount, the motor still needs flex. One solid is all you need, trust me!! Trial and error taught me this lession.

Always do the timing belt mount if you drag race. That thing is a nightmare when it wears out, you'll definitely notice it during the 1-2 shift. I've actually seen several DSMs with all stock mounts except the timing belt mount. The front motor mount on CSMs is only half full, lol, might want to take a look at that one too. I tightened that one up with cutting board inserts and windoweld.

No I have quite a few others, just using the 50 trim as an expierment. But I do plan on running 9's on a 61 with a lil shot.
