Unfortunately I didn't make a goof.The 56 trim gt40 compressor wheel that the gt35r and SCM61 turbos use flow 65lbs/min, here is proof that the SC61 series uses this wheel:
Proof. If you read you will see that the turbine wheel for that turbo (which at the bottom states its also referred to as the sc61, agp61) is the t350 wheel. The 35 from the t350 is what gives the gt35r its name, the same wheel among the SCM61 turbo.
The 700hp you are referring to among the GT40 series turbos is from the 88mm diameter compressor wheel the GT40 uses, which is very comparable in flow to a PT67, which is 75lbs/min. The SC61 and the GT35r use a 82mm GT40 compressor wheel that flows 65lbs/min. But ask Garrett, or anyone who knows GT series garrett turbos and they will tell you the same thing I have told you, that the GT series derives their name from the turbine wheels, not the comrpessor wheels.

So, if there is a GT40 Comp wheel in a GT35r as you say, then comp wheel do you say is in a straight GT40?
The 61mm wheel they list for the scm61 is a 35r comp wheel, plain and simple. AGP and a few other companies have recived heat for advertizing it as a GT40wheel, which it simply is not. You can call PTE or Garret and ask them the inducer of a GT35r's compressor wheel.
And by the way, the GT40 comp wheel has a 65mm inducer, not even closeto an 88mm. 88mm would allow for near 1000whp, of which the GT40 can obviously not do. You can look it up, and I have one sitting in front of me.
