Well with Davis out of town for a while he opted to let me run his car for the last Test-n-Tune of the season. I fixed the bad tie rod end and went up to the track on 22x8x15 slicks. It was a pizza cutter and the old slicks were practically useless since my best 60' was a 2.23 boiling them through second.
Best et was a 13.401 @ 108.20
Best trap was a 13.821 @ 109.89 w/ 2.5 60'...I bogged it badly.

Not bad for a stock internal 61 w/ 140K+ miles on the odometer.
Mods are E316G @ 22 psi, E8 intercooler, AFC, 560 cc injectors, 2G MAF, 3" exhaust.

Those are damn good times on that tired old motor. How is it holding up, is it showing any signs of its age?

None really, runs really strong and still pulls 19 vac with no smoking or blow by so far. We even ran it hard for a while on a faulty F/P before realizing it was at over 14 : 1 A/F's. :o

I dyno'd it friday at the identical settings at the strip and she did 281 hp and 265 ft/lbs. After pulling a ton of fuel from the top end I finished at 302 hp and 265 ft/lbs. All the power gains were from about 5,500 to redline. I gained at least 20 hp from 5,500 - 7,000 rpms and almost 30 hp from 7,000 - 7,800 rpms. To bad the drag strip is closed till next year.

Those are some great numbers for a 1.6L. A lot of your 2.0s are making those numbers on the EvoIII so thats definitely something to be proud of. And that bog really killed your trap speed and ET also. turbo cars loose a lot of MPH when they bog. But awesome work man.
