'89 Colt with 4G63T swap, FMIC, custom sheet metal intake, everything else stock. 175/80/13's cheapo tires.

I G-Tech'd it before and got a 14.27 @ 112 or something with 11psi.

First Pass went to do a psuedo burnout and knocked the #1 injector plug off. (I didn't put the cute little clips on) So, no boost and 3 cylinders.

60' 2.987
330' 8.057
660' 12.121
MPH 61.11
1000' 15.656
1/4 18.599
MPH 76.83

Second pass, Wheelhop out of the hole, broke the rear bolt that goes thru the motor mount, engine tilted back and landed the sheetmetal intake on the clutch master cylinder crushing it and knocking the resevoir off the master cylinder, clutch didn't work too good into 2nd or 3rd, then I powershifted 4th and knocked the injector plug off again, and the Manual boost controller exploded. NICE!!!!!!

60' 2.604
330' 6.698
660' 9.871
MPH 78.89
1000' 12.876
1/4 15.658
MPH 75.85

I had to drive home an hour with an electrical taped intake, and no clutch. Talk about fun.

The worst part is, my buddy in his NEON has been talkin' trash about the Colt saying that it feels about as fast as his 15.58 NEON. And I ran that. It sucked. I just wanted one "good" pass to get a timeslip. I was hoping for a 13.90. Oh well.

Hopefully, my next trip will be better.

If something happens, it'll happen at the track.
Earlier that day, I replaced the front motor mount bolt because it had broken.
I just installed a stroker motor, since the 2.0L started knocking. I've got the gas tank out to switch fuel pumps and am deciding what to do about all of the broken fuel lines that I created. Hopefully I'll have it done and half-@$$ tuned by the shootout. I've still got a worn out 14B on it for now, so it won't be too impressive.

It doesn't sound like it will even make it to the shootout.

I'm in Bucyrus, it's sorta by Marion or Mansfield. If that gives you a better idea of the location.

I just installed the stroker motor I built for the AWD Talon in the Colt. It'll be fun once it's tuned. I need to log and tune and figure out why it's cutting out at 5 grand. The O2 is reading rich at about 1.05 volts, so I'll just have to log and see what the injector pulse width is to give me a better idea of what's going on.
