Good Post Steve.
I completely agree with what you said. Which is why I love the drag times for the people the completely fills them out. It has weight and a list of the mods.
I mean you could do it like as part of your profile with drop down windows. List of mods:
Intercooler
Injectors size
Motor
LSD Y/N
LSD Type
Fuel Type
Meth Inj
Transmission
weight
turbo
tune Y/N
tuner software
ported head Y/N
Cams
Turbo Modification
MAF
Fuel Pump

.....etc. Make it a fill in the blank kind of like how Dsmlink asks for it to give you a base map :D but with more details.
Driver and tune in my mind is the biggest factor.
For example my buddy ran a 11.97 in his awd talon. He sold it and the next guy ran a 13.1. My buddy shifts to brake the trans.
Well there is my 2 cents I hope you enjoyed it.
PS if this was setup this would be something you know other forums would do

IMO that would be perfect Arron, very similar to what the guys were doing in the beginning of this thread except it will be a little more formal and organized. If we do end up making a different thread I would like the timeslip/mod info from this thread transferred over but of course that will all depend on the moderation of said thread.

I say just start a post where you have this on the first page. You ask the person that is posting a time slip to copy and past this into their reply and fill the info in. Followed by there time slip attachment.

1st time at the track with the colt. Hope to have MUCH better times next season with the LSD tranny and slicks. Didn't turn the boost up till the last run (forgot). 12psi on the first 4 runs, 15 on the last. Need to add some more fuel (seeing knock) AND get the boost to 20. I am happier with the final MPH more than the pedestrian times.

this was this cars track debut i did a few 13s and just kept turning up the boost.
the evo3 trans was expensive $800 and WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD
never misses a shift, ever. never grinds. seriously the best part on the car, but the short gearing was killing my mph, i feel dsm final drive would have given me 110 plus traps. it was revving 7300 or so when i crossed thru, and i feel this motors peak power is around 6-6500
