Ok i know were not suppose to do this lol .. but im too curious about my setup

200gt colt + 20g turbo (tdo5h 7 cm turbine housing) + stock 4g63 7.8 compression

20 - 22 psi, 2g maf , 660 cc, tsi fwd tranny , basic s afc tuning ( blue screen) , 94 oct, decent sized fmic , full 3inch turbo back , no cat

i'd get a gm maf at least 3 inch or higher and maft, upgrade fuel pump, k&n drop in filter(keep the stock air box) and you should go well over just 120 with your setup. im guessing......you should be hitting 13's or less in a 1/4. i wouldn't even be suprised if you told me you went 12's

if you're trapping 120s you should at worst be running 12.4, and that's spinning all the way down the track. I'd think with a 20g you'd be trapping close to 120 with the supporting mods you mentioned. A 2g MAS will be fine with that setup, 2g MAS will support over 400hp to the wheels. In which case if you had that much power, you'd be mid/high 11s at worst.

Slicks would actually negate most of the need for an LSD, though it wouldn't hurt and 11's are easily within reach with the mods listed.

2G MAS and S-AFC combo is proven to 10.5 seconds, this MAFT thing is over rated.

Traction will be your biggest issue. Most likely you will run into the 12s unless you get slicks then you could break into the 11s.
FWD cars are tough to launch correctly to take full advantage of the turbo you are using.

Over 120 if your settup is mildly tuned correctly.

I have the Exact same settup as you, except I had a small 16g.
12.0@120mph w/ weaksause 1.8 and 1.9 60 fts.

I would not say "overrated" but it is a new tool, and still has bigs, but these bugs can be over ridden with the help of an AFC. I have a 2g mas now and will be "translating" next season. Less restriction=more power period.

And they dont make these bitches for DSM's!

So not true, and if you "catch a slick" Menaing one sticks a lil more, you can kiss that axle good bye. I think many FWD drivers down play just how import an lsd is to thier cuase. It really does make a diffrence.

I was going off of personal experience. My other Colt turbo acted the same with open diff and slicks as it did with the LSD and slicks. Track conditions play a major roll though and both drag strips I used slicks at had very good maintenance. The LSD made a much more noticable difference on street tires and drag radials, pratically eliminating the "wild ride". I got practically no torque steer with the slicks.

Im on board with dragster. I have piolted LSD and non LSD slicked FWD DSM's, and with slicks, thri is no difference. On strett tires though, the LSD'd cars hook up much better. Most open diff high horse FWD cars have torque steer issures, but My colt refuses to still to this day, like it has an LSD?!!?
Stock 1.5 trans, love it.
