I'm personally not as worried about ETs as much as I am trap speeds.
I'm the same way. I just want a high trap so I know that the car is making power. If I can trap high then all I need to worry about is the first 330' to get the car to ET better.

Well the new set-up is coming along more and more everyday. I can't wait for this season should be fun and alot of quick cars in denver. We're shooting for 10's or faster at denver elavation by the end of the season. We will see though i will be happy with a nice trap.

P.s. Good luck to everyone!!!

Priorty #1 is winning this race vs. a LPE TT vette for 1000$ set up for early in the season.

If I keep the turbo I am bolting on now, 10.5@ anywhere from 145-150mph.

Also, the car will be run in a race that drfine's its purpose, the standing mile.

I am shooting for a 28sec or quicker@190mph or faster. All with a full interior (minus back seat) and a heavy cage.

And of course, still daily drive. To work, to scholl, to the track, in the rain, and most importanty, to the highway.

if my car doesn't hit 10's by the end of the season I will be mighty pissed..

Hey Corey OGP why do you think your car is gonna run 9's? You've never driven the thing into the 10's before, you know how much harder it is to go from a 10.xx to a 9.xx.

What are you worried what I run your still have to to catch me. Most people are still striggling to catch my Full weight plus 1G on a 16G and a SMIC. I am not worried I will run 10's on a 50 trim, unless I sell the car, my old mustang came up for sale and 8's are so much funer, and I can still run nopi.

lumpy - he talks the TINYEST amount of trash (which you and illicon started in the first place) and you go off on a cussing tyrade... this does not bode well for you. you know you have been warned by the admin in the past and yet you continue to be a detractor from our forum. be very careful what you say as we (the mods and admin) determine your fate (once again).

edit for clarity: Lumpy's post was deleted. Just take a bunch of insults and throw them into block text form and you get the idea.

JP's a crazy man!

Hah, but seriously, none of my friends believe that you can do a standing mile in under 30 seconds. They don't think a colt can do that.

I will keep you guys informed.

As with the 1/4 mile, its a game of traction when you talk about ET. I will be on street tires, so it should be fun trying to hook.

I not only think it will do it, I will garuntee a sub 30 sec pass. I have done it on the street with my old set up, and I will have MUCH more power this year.

The speed is what I am wondering on. I hope to see 185+. We'll see.
