First the front bumper/renault lip went on.

Then came all the fun of getting the rear bumper on, this involved some pretty tricky hacking of the US subframe mount.

Then I had to get the US harness to work with the JDM bumper which involved moving some wires around. THe biggest issue was a lack of reverse lights on the JDM bumper. I had some 9w LED bolt/lights from a project awhile back. They're pretty bright. I ended up drilling out one of the mounting holes on each of the parking lights in the bumper and threading one per side, then wiring them into the factory reverse light wires.

The next big issue was where to put the plate. I like having a filler panel but I didn't want to do anything to the bumper or take off the panel that covers the huge hole where a plate could be mounted. I had an old COLT filler panel from years ago that was damaged and I used that to make end pieces that were then mounted in place. Then I drilled a couple holes to mount the plate.

I sold off all my awd bits...but...my buddy is parting out his vr4 and has all but given me the parts I would need. I think I'm just going to get it on the road and max out the fwd first, then play with awd in a year or two.

Love it. Makes all the hassle of getting everything together worth it.

Its the most extravigant eagle summit I have seen. I am in love with this car! Not to be a jerk but why not hold out for a non rear wiper mid wing? Also I am diggin the fins

Also do tyou have a sunroof/moon roof? Can you post or send me pics of it? Is it factory?

Both of the lights were red when I got the bumper. If one was white, lilevo has some explaining to do. :axe:

I am happy with how they have turned out. What I really need is the small black bumper extensions for the bottom. Do you remember what they were off of and are you able to get another set?

It's a Colt...with a Summit hatch...with some Mirage insignia...with Cyborg aero. lol As far as I know, all of the factory mid-wings have the hole for the rear wiper (Cyborg's were highly optioned cars). There are at least 3 difference midwing versions that I know of, there's mine, another that's more angular and a third aftermarket piece that is one piece but extends past the hatch to the outside of the car.

The bottom fins are a diffuser/flattening panel to cover up the huge gap left by not running a muffler in the factory location. My sunroof is just a crappy dealer installed piece, that seems to be all we got over here in the states while the rest of the world got the SuperTop.

She saw some sun today! Black spots on top are the beginning of the rust spot removal. No holes luckily, just bubbles.
