Hey.
When i bought my Colt Supertop I told to my self I will never sell it, and if I do it would be because I have found DSM in awesome condition..
Well.. the day has come..
I never thought it will, because to find DSM (talking about GSX) in any condition in Europe is freaking hard.
had to go over 1000 miles to other country (Italy) to get it.
So to cut the crap here are the pictures:

The bad thing:
Water cooler is leaking
Rear right spring is broken :o
Gasket on transfer case is leaking
Driver windows can be hard to raise
Radio antena is stuck

The car has 6 bolt engine, 66.778 miles on the clock, 4 bolt LSD rear and it is stock except the ugly shift knob, radio and flour mats..
All the parts that I was buying for my Colt can now go to Eclipse.
So 68HTA, S1 cams, wiseco/eagle combo, magnus intake, FP exhaust, 850cc injectors, ECMLink and lots and lots more are waiting to be instaled into Eclipse.

Wow, that's clean! I've never seen those particular taillights before. Most of the DSM's in other parts of the world are pop-up headlight "1ga's". This is one hell of a rare find. I'm surprised it's not badged GSR-4 instead of GSX. Congrats! :supz:

*edit* - I just realized that they are stock US taillights with an amber reflector added onto them. :D

Super clean. Window can be fixed by spreading out the front track with a screwdriver. All those are easy fixes, except you are overseas

That's a very rare find. Congrats on a clean 1G - probably the cleanest I've ever seen.

Certainly worth the wait. Nice job!

Tony this is a real DSM, for US market.
They imported it new from Mitsu dealer in Florida. The first owner was a priest who bought it
The problem is that in Europe cars need amber blinkers..
So what they do? They cut the rear tail light and insert amber blinker from.. I dont know... Tractor?
Anybody have those hole? :D I dont like what they did..

I thought these were not rare in US. Or they were?
It is clasic 1GB Eclipse (sticker on the door says 1991, but it was imported in 1993.)

Colt is still at home, but soon it will go to my friend.
He is here on board also.

Try looking at ads in Europe. Mainly, left hand drive countries. They got the correct rear tails with amber corners. Might be able to score some. Otherwise, I am sure there is a bunch of unmolested GSX tail lights here in the US. I might even have a pair, I will have to look.

All the 1G in Eurpe are 1GA, not 1GB so tail light doesnt match.
I found few on ebay.. Will have to look around more.

It is rare to find one that clean with that low of miles in the US, that's for sure!

They're not exactly rare cars over here, but way too many of them have been modified beyond belief, or trashed beyond repair.

Yea, the 1ga tails end at a pint in the corners, 1gb are rounded.

I found a 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD here, (same as your car just badged differently), and it was the only decent one I was able to find around here. Sure there were others, but none that were never wrecked or modified. This one had 224,000 miles on it with a junkyard engine and trans and I still paid $2500 for it. Of course I can't leave well enough alone so I took it home and put a S16g on it with some 660cc injectors, a 2g MAF, a full 3" turbo back stainless exhaust, a short shifter, 2g rims, and some other goodies. She was fast and fun, especially in the snow.
But I have to express to you just how extremely lucky you are to have found one with such low mileage and in such good shape. Granted you had to drive to another country to get it but you have one of the absolute cleanest examples of a DSM that I've ever seen. Good luck with it, I can't wait to see the progress you make on it.
