Question: Why do I see white where the fittings go into the brake masters?? Teflon tape?

I'm digging your build.

But .... Teflon and brake fluid fittings, there is no need. The lines seal/mate inside the brass coupler/master and there is no need for teflon. The threads have no function in the sealing of the pressure and fluid. :wink:

The master cylinder and brass fitting is just pipe thread there is no flare, and I didn't want to over tighten the brass fitting ans split the casting of the master

That's strange that the masters don't have a flare type fitting internally, and can mate up with our tiny brake lines.

No way around the inline adapter?

There's no way around it that brass adapter is what contains the flare needed to mate to the brake line

If anyone can help me out, I have no colts or mirages in junkyards local to me. I need a cut out of the firewall in order to make a part to complete this if anyone can help me out with that that would be great
