Jeremy and I decided to go to the track yesterday along with kevin, for the NO ET event at Milan dragway. We had an absolute blast.

The track was really sticky , which made it difficult to actually learn the car and dial in its launch. First pass out the gate, the car went 129 mph...

After some tweaking I took her out again, still a pretty soft launch ....during the pass on the big end, the splash guard decided to come off and I ran over it . LOL.... the car is soooo fast that she ran over herself :)

this netted our best mph to date with lower boost pressure 33 psi.
Image

After some more manipulation ... adjusting 2 step and playing with the boost control .... I decided to let old girl Vida Eat...

and we were rewarded with our FIRST ten sec pass 10.86 @ 134 mph.... HELLL YES
Image

the next passes were poor and the reason being, was that the clutch was giving out . On the last run, the car had to be towed of the track.. ( we could see shrapnel dust coming through the Bell housing, so we will post pictures when we take it apart...

thanks ben, its been a long time coming for that car. I am tearing into the car tonight, to see what exploded on the clutch front. I am hoping to either upgrade the twin disc to a triple set up or move to the newer Quartermaster series

Bad ass! I'm hoping for a 10's pass on slicks this summer as well but I'm holding my breath. You run e85 pump or by the barrel?

running ethanol from the pump, but am considering the move to my own ethanol/110 brew.

Good luck in your quest to the 10s.

Thanks folks,

trans is a shep trans ( basically a freashened up stocker with a evo 9 1st gear,
Transfer case is a TRE unit with ralliart LSD

Weight, last time I weighed it , the car was 3300 with me in it ( 160) and full tank of gas.

Power, I really have no idea what it does on ethanol. When it was 93 octane it made 515/384 ( 26 psi) on daves dyno.
