I have been looking for a truck for a few months now but I couldn't seem to find something I liked that was in my price range. I had planned on buying a gas truck because most diesels where out of my price range. This weekend I ended up stopping by a small local dealership in town and found a 2001 Dodge 2500 sport. Its fully loaded, heated leather seats, heated mirrors its the nicest thing I have ever owned. It has 147,000 miles and came with a three month warranty. The only thing I really don't like about it is the peanut butter interior but its starting to grow on me.

I don't think I will keep it stock, going to do some gas mileage mods :twisted: and I'm concerned with the trans I can rebuilt it for cheap.

Nice truck. I had a 1st gen for about a year and did some racing with it, I really enjoyed the sound and smoke from the diesel and 50lb of boost in anything is always fun.

Upgrade the lift pump now or run a fuel pressure gauge at the inlet to the vp44 injection pump. Those epectronic lift pumps fail often and the high pressure pump will eat itself. Costly repair bill.
