Just picked up a 92 Eagle Summit ES today, so I can start swapping the Colt. I actually saw this car on my lunch break about a month ago and stuck the old "would you be interested in selling this car" note in it. Well the guy called me last tuesdy and I told him I would come take a closer look at it today. Needless to say at the price he gave I didnt care what it looked like, I was gonna have it! Other than the obvious cosmetic damage and being really dirty the car runs awesome. Oh and the AC blows super cold!

That was a steal for a car with working a/c especially during this heat wave.

Very nice! Even has some nice power options. I love the steering wheels on those, hoping to find one in the junkyard for my colt. They are like mini GVR4 steering wheels.

Congrats on the "new" CSM purchase.

*Offtopic* Chris, wouldn't it be easier to just find a Galant wheel? ;)

I believe these are black instead of gray and smaller in diameter.

Here you go.

I just noticed that it also has a tilt and telescopic wheel option as well! The seat is adjustable up and down too with a extending lever thing! Now if it would just cool down I can start cleaning it up a bit.
Also got to resist the urge to swap it, even though I am curious to know hard is to swap over a auto 4g63 tranny into one of these or is this tranny useable?

*update*

Got the old bent up stuff off of the car, and replaced with some junkyard peices in pretty decent shape. The color is a shade off but at least its not red or some other totally different color. I was surprised to find that the core support was not bent and the damage was merely cosmetic. I threw on one of my colt's manual mirrors on for the time being and still am looking for a few peices before i start fixing dents and such (looks like someone clogged on the roof). I also started driving it back and forth to work last week and have noticed a miss at start up and some white smoke on cool mornings. So I gave her a tune up today a low and be hold number 2 spark plug had some coolant on it...great. It's still super drivable and doesnt overheat at all but does use (obviously) some coolant. Anyway heres a couple quick photos.

...also does anyone have any suggestion on what to use to get off old sticker adhesive? Theres a pesky AAA sticker (old and dry) still on the bumper I cant figure out how to remove?

Go to Napa or somewhere that sells autobody supplies and buy a pin stripe/ decal eraser wheel. It goes in a drill. The car is looking good!

i want to paint my summit white now!!

...go for the swap! My summit was manual, and i completely and correctly converted it over to a 5 speed using all factory parts. the only pain in the ass was pulling the dash, but after its out it goes back in pretty easy.

Try WD40. You have to let it sit on there for a while.
