Big thanks to Joe (colt200) for going out of his way to ship me the grille off his Colt. As soon as I got it I swapped emblems and stuck it on there. What do you guys think? Should I paint it black or leave it silver? I kinda like it silver, makes the car look a little more classy, but black would look super mean as well.

Old grille for comparison:

And yeah, I need to figure out why it's crooked.

Hmmmm, I haven't been long done this, lol.

Paint it black.... Looks mean.

Check the brackets that the grille snaps into, one of them could be slightly bent making it lower.

He only charged me for shipping, it was like $35.

You should be able to find one in the junkyard. Those grilles came on all 89-92 Colts I believe.

It's tempting. I've thought about swapping that same piece, but I can't tell which one looks better

I say leave it silver, or maybe think about painting the middle piece black.

Kinda like this

I am not sure what it would look like during the day but I think it would be great at night. Nice to see the shipping guy finally figured out how to deliver the item. :D

That does look good guys. I probably would have done my Colt grille like that, only if it hadn't have been red, lol.

It's gotta drive you nuts, that grille being crooked like that.
