Well I was thinking about a dsm, I did that on a 92 GSX. Maybe there isn't room on a csm.

Best way i find is to use a 90 deg drill attachment to get out broken mani studs in the head. Make sure you get the hole started in the middle of the stud otherwise ur SCREWED.

And the turbo was probbaly leaking oil into the housing. Seems like a good idea to me to get the turbo to stop blowing smoke lol.

as long as the turbine is siezed up and not moving anymore your good to go!

Low compression N/A 4g61 mod lol.

Ok time for an update. I thought I was going to have this thing done last weekend but I ran into some problems. I ended up having to order parts for a water line and a new oil drain. I did get the rear caliper replaced, valve cover painted and put on, and the turbo bolted up. Thanks to Mr. M3 (Matt L) and Seth for painting the valve cover.

Wow I can't believe I never updated this thread. I had it running strong and even took it to the shootout last year. Wish this could be a better update.

Well I guess this car is going back into project mode. I kind of knew this was coming but I was hoping that it was going to be so soon.

I have three different options at this point, 1) pull the 6-bolt out of my 2g and most likely end up with a fmic and a 3" exhaust on it 2) try to find a 1.6 and keep it stock like was 3) sell the car. I really like the idea of option 2 but I don't think I will have the money for a while and I don't know how hard it will be find one.

I think I know of a 1.6 local to me, but I think it had a hard life.... I can ask if you want.

Back from the dead! I've had the colt for about 6 months now. I had to store it at the shop for about a month until I closed on my house. Now after getting some other projects out of the way, I am installing a stock 4g63 long block into it. It's past my bedtime but I will update the thread with some pics in the next few days.
