Why exactly are you switching to the 6262? What benefits does it have over the 3065? Sorry if this may be a dumb question, but I'm trying to get as much research, and first hand user response as possible before I make the plunge.

Thanks bro.
The 3065 is a bolt-on turbo. Bolt-on turbos have limitations. The 6262 is significantly larger both on the compressor and turbine sides, and it has a billet compressor wheel making it much more lightweight and easier to spool.

Ah, thanks man. I haven't been on here in forever let alone been able to get on and do any kind of research due to work, lol.

I knew the billet wheel would definitely make a huge difference. I also knew that the 3065 is ball bearing, where the 6262 is a journal bearing. I was just unsure in the differences of having that billet wheel with the journal bearings.

So is having the billet wheel with the journal bearing will be comparable to the 3065's ball bearings?

The 6262 is offered in ball bearing as well.

The 6262 is around the same size physicly as the 6262 and push 70lbs/min more. Also like captaintonus said its a T3 setup so less restrictive. With what i saw billet journal will be equal at a standard bb turbo. Billet bb turbo like the 6262r is just incredible.

Cfm performance is one of my good friend but also my sponscor! His compagny growing up very fast! He will be the next extremepsi but in canada.
