Yeah, I know. It blew my mind too. There was a thread about this a couple days ago actually, I think it only came on these uber-rare cars.

I think they are early valve covers (or just the early japanese imported engines) that say mitsubishi, like the vr4 and 89 turbo and non turbo csm's.
