Well they say in the description that it wasn't making 701whp when they filmed it, so at 18psi it's very possible that he was only in the 400whp range.

Still, I've always wondered why there arn't more bad ass S2K's on the streets...[/quote]

What a joke... Even cummin' from me.

I'm glad soeone picked up on y lae attept at sarcasim.

There have been a couple guys locally (some respectable guys too) that have attempted to build the but have all struggled to run 12's without breaking something.

They say the cost to build them isn't worth it so thats why most opt to build fwd cars instead.

Im not impressed, I built all motor Hondas that can woop an R6 more than that. Probably more like a 400whp S2K.

Its either not stock, or won't run for long. The s2k's are impressive but severly lack strength. One hard launch with that kind of power will break the either the rear end, axles, drive shaft, trans...or a combination. I've watched several stock ones break rear end's and axles at the track with DR's and traction.

Also the power band isn't very impressive, it takes way to long (even at higher boost) to get to 150 mph. He barely beat the 600 and the 1000 was gone. That just seems slow, even if he was only at 600 whp, the Widow vs a modded R6 and 636 wasn't even a competition (probably 6-8 car lengths from 60 - 140) and it makes much less whp and is at a similar weight now.

Still, I've always wondered why there arn't more bad ass S2K's on the streets...
According to lots of my Honda buddies, there are many cases of guys running 600+whp on stock internals, but the fact that he's doing it on stock drivetrain is sort of unbelievable. As far as weight, S2K's are up around 2,800lbs from the factory IIRC.

Captn' I am the same as I have ever been, I have no beef with you. Remember, some of these folks are just getin into the scene and havent seen what you have. Your pics are great and information is appreciated. But remember, in the WHOLE scheme of things, this is just a car forum. 50 years from now, no one will give a flyin sh*t about these pos rust buckets.......
