yeah, its a hundred plus on track, 130 to 150 + intake air temp. even with race gas its still really hot, if iats are ambient it helps ALOT, figure 1% power for every 10 degrees lost or gained is a big deal.

hacked a light, made a fiberglass scoop, glued it on, made it slick with bondo. painted it and damn it looks good.

yes, if other people would like to own one, i will make some to go around. i don't know about price yet, but it will definatey be fair.

ok guys i have been thinking seriously about this.

to make more i am gonna have to build a mold. (inner and outer, glue together etc.)

is anyone up for a dot approved little amber led corner marker light installed as well? (molded in in a tasteful fashion) so as to run around all the time with scoop in? (ideally, made to plug n play into current corner marker sockets.)

i am thinking i need 8 to 9 guys to prepay for me to get started. somewhere in the neighbor hood of 80 bucks with a light, and 90 with out?

just throwing ideas out there, lemme know what you think.

That looks awesome.
If you decide to start making them, i'll take one (without a light). Maybe set up an EOI thread in the Forsale section to see what kinda interest you get?

Yeah this looks pretty good and if you could make it at least somewhat DOT legal that would be even better. I'd be interested in one without a core.
