This is what happens when the end cap of a $20 APC filter decides to free itself from the filter element.

Nice. I bet you could hear it spool from blocks away. Thats how my S16G looked after I broke it. Are you going to just replace the compressor wheel and have it rebalanced?

This has got to be AT LEAST the 3rd HTA88 I've seen get fruit and banana up cause of an air filter coming apart. I don't get it? That really sucks though man..

I find it shocking that someone with a turbo like that even runs an air filter in the first place. That sucks.

I don't run the HTA88 turbo, its a turd IMO. This was a guy I know. I actually advocated to him that he change the filter before it does what it did, lol.

APC POS $20 filter - 1
$1700 FP HTA88 - 0

Wow that really blows. First he wasted a bunch of money, then this! AMS testing showed that the HTA88 (HTA37R) doesn't make but a C-hair's worth of performance improvement over a standard 67BB, so I can't understand why anyone is willing to spend $1700 on it. Having FP on the return label and a shiny billet comp. wheel that makes no performance improvement doesn't justify the price to me. Yikes.
