I live in Palm Coast, FL.

Well, Not from Florida but at least I am East coast! I think more people have done this west coast or at least mid west. I have yet to meet anyone near me who has done the full swap. If there is anything I can help you with let me know.

Mark

I just picked up a 91 Eagle summit parts car yesterday in North Carolina. Just got back to Florida a few hours ago.
I want to do the 4g63t swap and the awd with rear disc brake conversion.

What years and male/model donor car do I need?

1990-1992 Eagle talon, or Mitsubishi Mirage?
Which submodel ... Gsx, gts?
Can I use a 95-98 eclipse?

I just need a list of vehicles to search for.

I want cruise control. That's a big deal to me. So is air conditioning and an rpm gauge.

I already have all of the DVD' s for the conversion as well as factory service manuals, etc.,

Thank you.
Can I message you my phone number or Facebook info?

I used a 93 Eclipse drive train with a 4 bolt rear. It has disc in the rear already. I used Expo spindles and Eclipse hubs to get 5 lugs front and back. There is a write up on how to make the tach work on here. I do not have A/C or cruise so that you may have to do some digging on.

I think 90-94 Eclipse is what everyone uses. There was something slightly different with the 90 Eclipse I think. There is no wrong way to do the swap. I used the Eclipse engine and transmission mounts and fabricated them to work. I have no crossmember going from the radiator support back but others have made one. In my opinion this swap will take you longer than you will expect if you want it to be a nice swap. Attention to detail is everything! Think it through and if you don't like something, redo it because YOU will remember where you wish you did better.
