Well I hate to say it, but im not going this year. Just too much time and debt spend to make the road rally two weeks back :(

I'll see you guys in 2016.

We're still debating but pretty sure we won't be attending either. My wife has to be at work on Monday so that would put us missing Sunday and driving straight through. Just not sure if I want to do that or not.

I am working on getting the drag talon to take and cruise Shootout. I am not looking to compete this years as too many little things are adding up. From voltage drop, oil leaks, coolant leak, wire confusion, to inexperience with the car. I am shooting to have it finished Wednesday night and being a Zombie at work Thursday. If this doesn't happen then I will take the summit and have to change out a drive shaft while at shootout. Hopefully, I could get some help from my fellow dsmers. I wish I could tow both cars out, but no one seems to have a 2 car trailer. I did find one but is out in norwalk area.
May God Bless us with good sound non-leaking running dsm and csm this next week.

Edit: I got the driveshaft carrier bearing repair, but have not install the drive shaft. I have twisted yoke like always so I am ordering one from extremepsi today.
As for the drag talon we got a lot of little things done that added up big time. It should be ready for a tune. I am impressed by how dirty the E-85 made the injectors. We did a nice cleaning job on the injectors, which were stuck open from gunk. It fired right up and idled nicely even with the wrong side injectors in the tune.

I'll gladly lend a hand if something goes south on your car.

I had a great time at shootout. I got to talk to some really cool people and even some from this page. It sounds like next year we will have 2 more summits that are 4g63t possibly making shootout. A local guy's buddy picked up that really nice blue green summit that his this forum. Also met a guy name Charles that had one that was looking for info and I hope to see his on the boards also.
I know the 2 guys I brought this past year will be going again as they had no idea of what the event was going to be like.
I have to say my favorite car this year was the Charcoal 75 colt. It was a nice surprise to see something new.
Someone needs to get Jay from West Virginia on our forum, so if anyone knows him personally then egg him on to join as he has a really cool 7 passenger manual 4g63t awd summit.

Nate, I realize as he and I talked last year about what his next project would be. It is too bad you couldn't bring the 72 colt

I wanted to bring the Talon, but just short funds this year. I'm going to try to make MOD in Normal next month...

Nate,
My plans are to have the summit and drag talon at MOD this year. We (my brother, his wife, my gf,and anyone else with us) go out to eat at a irish pub. If you want to join us you are more than welcome.

Lil Evo,
What turbo are you running?
