Just when you are tired of getting screwed by winter it gets worse.................

WTF, wife woke me up at 1:30 this morning with water dripping in the master bath.Went out to the garage and water dripping in there also. I went up on the roof and cleared snow until 4 am and the water slowed down. spent the day today steam cleaning ALL the ice/snow off the roof.

I hear you! I have been on the roof a couple times this week, to prepare for a melt as it was above freezing today first time for 2 months. I don't want runoff to back up under shingles so cleared snow and ice off two feet back from edge and emptied a bag of rock salt along the eve troughs which were solid ice from a previous melt

Btw, nice house and location!

It has snowed here a few times over the past few weeks and we hardly ever get snow. We were all miserable, schools closed and everything. I was going crazy just sitting in the house because it was just too cold to get out and do anything. I really don't think I could live where it snows that much. It is nice to look at though.

Not picking on you but I got a chuckle out of this line. How does Canada, or any state north of Kansas for that matter, ever get anything done? hahaa

My father in law is giddy like a school girl every time it snows,

I want to punch him

I know, right? I'm sure they love it and it's just another day to them. Me on the other hand can't wait til it all melts away. Cold weather is just depressing to me for some reason. I like being outdoors with shorts and a t-shirt on when it's warm out.

Thats ice, not snow, little mini-hail, did it all night and into the day. Closed down everything!

I'd have to go look, but roughly 29 inches tall.

The other day my thermometer in the truck hit 78*, today we had rain that turned into sleet on my way to work, hail during the day (marble sized), and dry roads on the way home. Just another day in Wisconsin!
