On top of My swapped colt and Roberts swapped Wagon we will have Roberts 6266/Auto slap-shift powered 1gb race car, my oldest son in his 1gb Talon, My second oldest in his (my old) black colt, my middle son in his GVR4, Roberts nephew in his 6266 powered GVR4, middle son's friend in his 420a and two more friends in their 1gb Eclipse and 1gb Talon. Having our own shootout!!!!

pma1123, we should be easy to find. Should be the Colt and a Red Summit wagon hanging out with a canopy or two and a talon on a trailer.

Next trip in 2015 for me, bad timing and my Colt build is still not finalized so next year i hope :wink:

Totally understand your position 89mirageman! Its strange, all year I could care less about the shootout but the hotel reservations are made. Then these shootout threads start showing up, and the anticipation lights up like an inferno.

My grandfather turns 80 the saturday before the shootout and I decided to re-route up to MI and make a surprise visit for a change. Kinda glad things worked out this way actually, I'll be abled to do both events.

That's cool and very thoughtful of you man, I'm sure he'll be surprised. Tell him Happy B-Day from the guys that spend way too much time and money working on these tin cans too!

I'm the same way. All year long I think to myself man that's a long drive and money that could be better spent somewhere else for sure. But I remember what a good time we had a few years ago when we went and really would like to attend again.

My white sedan aka the car noobs get confused with LILEVO and Cheaptalon's silver sedan will both be there along with my buddy's wife's super clean black 95 talon. Antilag200's red hatch should be around with a few other MI people as well.
