So i've been trying to register as a new member over at galantvr4.org for the last two days. I receive a message saying i will get an email and to follow the link in it, but i never get the email. Anybody here know whats up?
I'm trying to track down an issue with the car starting. I've tried unplugging the clutch switch and it didn't help. The only way i can start the car is by jumping a plug that goes to a relay with a paper clip. I've tried a different relay also, but to no avail. Anyone have some suggestions?

I can pm a buddy over there that's a moderator. You sign up with the same screen name as here?

Well, i tried a couple more times and was never sent the confirmation email. I checked my spam and junk mail folders, nothing there. I've just about given up at this point. I don't know whats going on over there. :-?

The owner of the site (Hertz) read my pm but didn't bother to reply. I'll send him another one. I have no idea what is going on here.

Quoted from Hertz, who recently made this post:
Quote:
In an effort to restore reliable email messaging from the site, I've made some changes. (If) you receive email from the board, you may notice that is sent via galantvr4.org@gmail.com Hopefully this will better pass through the myriad of spam filtering that has recently had its way with our messages.

If you tire of receiving particular emails from the site. Do NOT mark the messages as SPAM. Most filters out there are learning and as people do this, the site gets blocked. Please DO remove your notifications from the site (links are included in every message).

PLEASE DO WHITELIST galantvr4.org@gmail.com as this will help ensure that the email gains reputation and is allowed to pass.

I do not know if this will be a permanent solution as there are limits to the quantity of messages we can send in this manner.

Thanks and please provide any feedback you may have. My apologies to the TENS of enthusiasts and interested gearheads who have not been able to join the website because of not receiving email confirmations. /s
Hope that helps anyone interested in joining.

I just joined, took 2 minutes. Maybe they fixed the issue now with the email change. I just picked up a VR-4 shell for $400. Unfortunately, it needs pretty much all new seats and it is gutted, but a long term project it is.
