I was reading the article on Jalopnik about the friendliest group of car owners, and came across this post from "RacecaR". Who is it?

Mirage/Lancer/Summit/Colt owners.

I have been around a lot of different car guys. But I have been on a Mirage forum for well over 10 years, and it has grown to be an extended family. From sending cards/well wishes when someone is down and out/sick/death in the family/marriage/birth of a baby to helping each other out by borrowing parts from one another to help get a car running (And I am talking about borrowing from someone in a different state all together). I have not owned a running Mirage in years, and I still can not pull away from that community, along with other guys like me. We hang around because we have built strong relationships that all started with a love for a similar car.

Also as an admin on the Mirage forum, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I have had to ban someone for just being an outright ass hole. We all pretty much get along, no matter what version of the platform they drive, no matter what path they go with in modifications, or no matter where they hail from.

Pretty sure it's not anybody from here. I would guess Chris Mitsuman over on Mirageforums.net.

I was thinking Mitsuman, Chris (of whom spent quite a bit of time here as well as now mainly on the 4G+ Mirage Performance forums) just like 89Mirageman said.

Maybe it is Evotistical ... there is a handful of guys that don't have a related car anymore, a shed full of parts, and a talent for keeping people in line, while being nice about the whole thing altogether.

So many good members, but I have a feeling this relates to another forum, albeit funny that we share many of the same membership base and knowledge pool.

It seems like it would be someone from this forum, since he mentioned a very specific example of something that happened on here

Makes me glad to be a newly found mirage owner! Never knew what I stumbled upon through my recent car adventures. Basically I have bought 3 cars in the last 3 weeks. I have sold the first, and in the process of the second, because I think I found the one for me and that's a awesome mirage.
