OK...well, back when I was 18 (and drunk) I got a tattoo of my first love's name and I happened to find out that the Kanji character that was supposed to stand for "Angel" isn't what I was told it was. Can anyone translate this for me by chance? It's been driving me crazy.Image

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it stood for jackass. I was visiting Florida and was hanging out in Ybor City with a friend and his girlfriend and they got each other's names on their backs in Kanji letters and then broke up like a month later...figures.

Anyway, following suit, I got my first love's name in Kanji on my back and I'm almost certain that they had no idea what those Kanji letters actually were. I looked up the Kanji form of the name Angel and what I have on my back certainly wasn't what I found. So I'm wondering what it really means, if anything...
