Just realized I joined here nine years ago today. It sure doesn't seem like it's been that long.

Probably spent working on a CSM.

When I came here I had a 2G as a Daily Driver. That car is gone and now I have a 3G project car thats not a Daily Driver.

I joined about 6 months after you did, and I didn't even have a CSM at the time. It took me about 2 years before I actually bought one, and I haven't owned that car for over 3 years now, and I don't miss not having one at all!!! LOLOLOL

It's been awhile. Multiple owners, plenty of admins, a dozen mods, thousands of members, and the cars are still badass little sleepers. :)

Just realized I passed the 10 year mark. A decade?? Feels like it was yesterday!

I actually didn't have my car when I joined but I was in the process of getting it. I bought two non running cars from a dealer for $400 I think. The funny part is my screen name is 89Mirageman but the car ended up being an 89 Colt instead  . Yes, I know they're the same thing but still.

After owning a ton of DSM's there's just something about these little tin cans. I guess because they're rare or different. Not to mention this board has some super cool members that I consider my close friends.

Tony I always laugh when I see your post count knowing that you joined a little bit after me. Guess I don't have much to say.

I joined in December of 2005 when I picked up my current colt. I though everyone on here was a little weirder than the usual dsm owner, little did I know I would turn into a full blown csm freak. :drinkers:

Time flys buy. I can only remeber buying my first colt an 84 gts in 1994. 20 years ago. Seems like 5 years ago. Going to be 50 years old soon.

I lurked since the summer prior to joining as I had ended up with a '91 Summit, it was only after a lady rearended me and busted a light in the bumper that I joined to find the part! Amazing how a car accident started the long journey only to end up an admin a decade later.

It's not that you don't have much to say, it's that I'm a complete post whore. ;)

I remember watching all of your Hwy 100 street-racing videos back in the day and thinking how bad-ass your car was. Then Mike W. at RRE bought a Mirage Turbo, and that's when I really learned about the cars. Then one of my buddies here bought a '89 Mirage Turbo, and did the 4G63 swap. Once I rode around in that thing, I decided I had to have one someday.

Tony, you seem to be slowing down a bit though. Jason I think I found this site through yours if I'm not mistaken. I too remember watching your videos thinking I've got to do that. It wouldn't surprise me if over 80% of the people here got into these cars because of yours. Man, how do you get your head through doors?

This is actually the last forum that I regularly post anything on. I've lost a lot of interest in it lately. I'm not going anywhere, though.
