i use Imgur, nice interface, easy direct linking, and lots of picture storage. they allow infinite uploads, it's just that if you go over 225 uploaded images, the older images are pushed off the dashboard of the free account. they're still there, and if you have the link, you can still post it, view it, link it, whatever, you just can't view it in your dashboard. and if at any point you DO want to see those images on your dash, it's 3$ a month for unlimited viewable uploads.

I use photobucket now, free and works great

Yeah imageshack went to a "500 free uploads", then to "300 free", now they killed it unless you pay $8/month. Any old uploads are still available to use/view but who knows how long that will last. I suggest downloading all your pics off there if you want to be sure to keep them.
