The car has been sitting in the garage since September or so.

Here is the first mod of 2014!

Image

Custom one-off Wiseco 10:1 pistons
Manley Turbo Tuff rods
ARP mains, ARP rod bolt upgrade, L19 head studs, HKS 1.6mm head gasket
Kiggly main girdle
Fathouse Fabrications fully ported 1G head
Ferrea oversized valves

I'm hoping to hit 900 awhp this year and I think the higher compression, kick ass head, and more boost will get there.

The old motor put in good work for the past 5 years and 6000 miles with a best time of 9.9@146 and 770AWHP at 41psi. It's still running great and I will be selling it as a drop in long block!

Is that cable for an increase in accuracy with something?
I'm so far behind on the advance in 4g63 tech.

Looks like that motor has the stuff to keep it alive.

Yes, more stable timing signal not affected by belt stretch, drift, etc. You can also make cam adjustments without needing to reset the ignition timing every time.

Well, 1000 canadian hp. I believe due to the exchange rate, its something like 780 american hp.
