I've noticed a few members from Seattle to Salem areas. Why don't we meet at some function sometime or set up our own cruise or get together?

I am down for that. I am usually at most of the major events but I just closed on a house last week and am getting married in August but I will try to make whatever we get set-up.

I will throw an idea out there though. Riverdale Raceways in Toutle WA (by Mt st Helens) is holding a sport compact import drag race/car show August 11th (which happens to my wedding day :axe:) They did have an event last month which I took first place in for fastest time and fastest in class, reppin the CSM's :partyman: It's an awesome event with a real laid back track (1/8th mile though.)

im totally down for a meet. i have always been into cars and now that i have a house and child on the way i feel
this will be the car project i actually stick with for a while.

i just have to get a clutch in and some new replacement parts in and it should be driveable. all being made easier by guys like you ^ and ^^

i have a lot on my plate these days but i will try like hell to get to some kind of meet. i know there is some big autocross in packwood wa
near the end of summer? but im down for just coffee or a beer too

and i remember seeing posts from a guy in salem too... darkhorse? looking to be one of the largest car meets ever assembled ha ha ha

I've been to Toutle before. It's like a flashback from 1955. I keep a pretty busy schedule but I definitely want to meet up.

Washington DSM will be having a meet and greet at the Commons in Federal Way WA on July 6 at 1pm. It's too far for the Or. guys but thought I'd post it here for anyone in the area that may be interested. I will be bringing the Mirage out.

kinda far your right plus im on a road trip in july so i cant make that.. a meet of some kind would be fun though. aug-sept is prolly best for me.

car is almost done now. new ball joints, tie rod ends, cv axles and seals, fwd flywheel with act clutch....almost bolted everything up and excited to take it for my first ever drive in a colt gt with useable gripping clutch lol.

Nice! I am working ova on that side of the state! July 6th eh Commons I'll have to look for it. I am usually around Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma for work when I work on that side of the state! So, let me know. Right now the colt is still sitting and waiting for time off from work to put back together :/ But construction season is almost over so I will have some free time to work on it and get it back up and running.

2 of us in Albany...myself and Darkhorse, and another in Brownsville. I can't remember his forum name but he's a good friend of ours. Would consider a meet, but really depends on my work schedule.

yeah i just heard about the west coast dsm shootout in portland. that sounds awesome!
i would love to take my car too but if its not running by then i want to go just to hang out.

i think it would be great to meet some people there who hang out on this forum

sounds like one of the contests is a fastest lap around the track? that would be so fun to take a car around a real racetrack
even just the one lap

anyone know if the $65 racer fee is per event or to drive in all events that weekend?
