I haven't been on here in YEARS!
I was wondering if any of the old timers are still around?
Flying Eagle? Still have my friends old Colt?
Berserko? ever finish that 2.4L auto monster?
PTFIRE? I do know he's into Mazdas now....
Hondahunter? Still in the Desert?
LILEVO?
Paul Mezz
DRCOLT2000 I think? Charles?

There's more I'm forgetting, how's everyone!

I've been looking for the last 3 months for a Colt to build again.... It's been way to long...

I'm still here too. I just started coming back around after a little hiatus. Don't have any Mitsu products now, but I've always got a thing or two up the old sleeve. Right now I'm in the process of building my Ramcharger. I often wonder about what has happened to my old 4 door 89 Mirage, my 90 TSI, and my old 92 4G63 Colt. I think I even sold my old 90 Colt here too. It'd sure be nice to see my old 92.

Sean's/Dan's old Colt is still up and running.
Going EVO3 when I get off my ass and install everything.
Car took a back seat to dating this spring, now it looks like the car is back at the top of the list.
Sigh!

Funny how I think back to older members and without your help, I would not have gotten the car in the first place!

Good to see you're still kicking EvilTesticle. Its been a long time bro. Thank you Steve for taking me on a trip down memory lane. Damn I wish I had the money to get my baby back. I have a great job now and I'm pulling in about a G a week and all I can ever seem to get done is keeping up with the bills. It's not as easy as it was when I built that car to drop $2500 like it wasn't shit. I had three cars when I was building that Colt. Its hard to believe but I'm 30 years old and my old Ramcharger is my 37th vehicle that I've owned since I was 14. I can still recite the VIN number of the first vehicle I owned. Not long after I brought it to PA I saw it going by me on a flatbed. It seems the girl that bought it from the guy I sold it to rolled it numerous times and the only way I was able to recognize it was the wheels that I put on it. Sad.

I own this car now.
When I got it: Image

How it looks now with new rims. Image

Getting ready to replace the upper core support and front fenders as the current ones are shot, and I wanna lose the hood pins. I have also installed the stock Infinity lights in the g20 bumper.

Drcolt2000 had his c53a up for sale for a long time. Not sure what happened there, but later his c10 turbo was also for sale. Life as a contractor keeps him pretty busy. I'm sure he pops in every now and again.

Good shit man. My grandfather bought this new and it was a 1.5 12 valve with a 4 speed manual. The basest of the base. When he passed in 96 he left it to my cousin and when she passed in 08 she gave it to me. I beat the dog shit out of it and swapped my built 63 into it. Be proud to drive that car bro, it means a lot to me and it has a lot of history. I'm happy to see that it went to a good home. Good luck with it and try to keep me updated please.

I'll be keeping it for quite a while. Currently it has an E316G E3 exhaust manifold, probably the same exhaust you had on it with a hole in the flex-pipe, Colt GT seats that the foam is getting tired on, 660 injectors, GM-MAF in pull mode, Maf-T.

I had to replace the clutch (it was spent) with a used stocker, AFPR, all 4 wheels were bent (now running 15" Drag DR-12's w/ 195/50r15 falkens) Turbo oil seals were leaking (the guy I bought it off of was feeding the 16g oil from the OFH, I moved it to Head feed, no more smoke), installed an SAFC-II I had laying around.

I have an ACT2600 waiting to be installed along with a different turbo tranny that has a LSD. Bodywork under the black paint is starting to fail and the top radiator support is all kinds of wrinkled, so she will get new fenders, URS and maybe doors (PO supplied all of those for my $800 purchase). I am looking to go PlastiDip for the Colt, keeping it black.

FYI, the PO blew the HG 10 miles after buying it from you, then replaced it (re-using the old head bolts with the front ones @ 30-50lb/ft torque) and blew it again. I bought it after that

Make sure you head out to the Shootout this year, it will be there.

BTW, what shifter assembly did you install in it? Need to replace a few bushings in it.

When I sold it to Aaron, he got about ten minutes onto the interstate and I told him that it was missing and not to really get on it. The wires that went to the AFC were really thin and brittle so I also told him to watch where they put there feet in the passenger well where the computer was. His boy that was with him was driving and he got on it and that's when they blew it up. The shifter was just a stock CSM shifter that I cut down and rethreaded.

Ok, well, then someone replaced it since you sold it. Definitely aftermarket.

SAFC wasn't installed when I got the car, but I could see where it was soldered in previously, so installing mine was easy.
