Ive see a few cars that were coated in plasti dip and they look good but they have been all new or near new cars. Im just looking for pictures and opinions on the subject. My laser is horribly faded and looks terrible and im considering doing this to my car but im not 100% sure yet.

Hey, there is a place right by me that does this. Rims, cars etc. I think it looks k in person, cheaper for sure. I havent seen csm but Iv seen pickups, suv, and some older cars. Good thing you its not forever. Just make sure your car is clean before. Are you doing this your self?

I'll be doing this to an '89 mustang sometime soon in yellow, it's pretty simple. They just came out with some new colors as well. You can actually spray your entire car as it sits (once it's clean of course, no waxing!) and then use a plastic knife to trim around windows/mirrors/whatever you want to be the original color and then peel it off. There are kits to do it, a csm hatch will probably be 2 1/2 gallons with a few coats. They rate it at 7 years but that depends on how much sun it sees, the less sun, the longer it will last. Whenever you get sick of it, just catch the edge and start peeling. It won't harm your paint either unless you've got a fresh paintjob, then it's best to wait at least 3 months for it to fully cure before dipping.
