Haha, remind me to never go with you for coffee and donuts  . Can't wait to see some pics. I'm hoping its either black or white but pretty much any color on those cars look good.

Thanks Nate! It's good to be home

Chris... I got the dark silver version..... it's a decent enough car, it's got enough stock boost to get into trouble. We'll see what happens

Pretty sure I know what color you're talking about. A guy on the local dsm board picked one up a few months ago and his is that color I think. He's already tinted it, got a nice exhaust and some new wheels & tires. They are super nice cars for sure. It still makes me laugh because 15 years ago people were ashamed of Hyundais, now they make some of the nicest cars on the road.

The 13' Genesis 2.0T, my favorite new car by far, I'm seriously considering trading the Scion in for one... Mostly because the FRS/BRZ are so fail.

I agree fully chris, about them being nice cars. I keep trying to convince people Of this but they don't want to hear it.

I was looking at the Genesis coupe before I bought my Evo. I like them, just couldn't get the color/package I wanted at the time. I figured I'd void the warranty before I got it home so I decided to go Evo instead. It's still on my list of cars to own one day though!

Thanks guys. There's tons of stuff available for them already. Used engines can be had for "fairly" cheap.

It makes boost as SOON as your foot comes off the clutch. But with the twin scroll teeny turbo it comes with it makes linear power. So there's no sudden rush of power. It just... goes... FAST

We'll fix that soon enough. I'm surprised no one has come out with an ECMLink-ish setup for the car yet. Better yet, I'm surprised none of the ex-DSMers [and there are tone of em who have bought the gencoupe] have found a way to make the ECMLink work on the gencoupe platform.

In any case, I'm happy with it, and will have tons of fun modding it.

Still in Bahrain getting a stock block installed. The builder f*cked up the built motor 1 week before I rotated back. It's all good. I'll get her right before I go back

Yes! If you make a build thread be sure to post it here, I would love to see some progress on one of these as I am still very serious about picking one up.

The turbo Genesis is nice! I remember first time seeing one when my friend got one of those when they first came out. Was nice driving in it...

I'll probably head back there in the next year or so..... I've got the Colt in storage. So I'll revisit that project when I get back
