My neighbor and I have tried like 6 times to install the trans in his 70 Roadrunner (383 magnum and Hurst 4 speed) and for some reason the 3 prongs that hold the TOB and keeps pressure on the clutch will not stay. We just replaced the linkages for the clutch actuator so it does have constant pressure. I put the 3 prongs on and install the trans into the bell housing and when I do the clutch feels tight but as soon as I install the driveshaft and drop the car it still won't go into gear at all. I'm stumped...anyone?

Sure the shift linkage isn't binding up somewhere?

Don't have an answer but you might find something on the Moparts board.
