Rockauto has 9 black top cas's on clearance for $32 each. I just ordered mine a few minutes ago. I'm hoping the pic on their site is the correct one, if not I'll just send it back or something. Order at your own risk! Just go to their site and look up a 92 Galant VR-4 and search for crankshaft sensor. |

Nope, there was another one made by Delphi. I checked the site again about an hour after I posted this and they were all gone. I posted it up on the Galant board as well, I didn't think they would last too long. |

Whats the difference? I think the black one has a magnetic pickup where as the older ones are optical. |

It's the other way around. Black top is optical which is "supposed" to be better. |

jdapo, I've had both of them open, the green top relies on stamped holes in the rotor for the optical pickup, the blacktop has 4 metal fingers that pass by magnetic hall effect sensors. So really its the other way around from the other way around... |
