Ha ha, just bustin' your balls Tony.

I've always wanted a bar like this, but I wouldn't want to give up ground clearance either. It would be really sweet if it had a section of flat steel that clamped over and under the crossmember to sandwich it all into one piece to maximize strength and clearance... and if it somehow went over the exhaust... and if it fit an AWD crossmember... and 3" exhaust... and if it made the car lighter...

Actually you have a point there. Yoshi, any idea if this will fit a 4WD crossmember? I'm still in, can always sell it on to one of the local FWD Cyborg guys if it doesn't fit mine.

Not sure, I dont have access to a 4wd x member. Any pics so that i can compare?
