There's hardly one out there that doesn't have a Eclipse 2.0 engine in it and the folks into that at 4g61t.org have an almost religious evangelicalism to find every remaining 1.6 and give it the full ricer treatment. I've been looking for one for years but finally gave up because there are so few stock ones left out there and the 4g61t guys seem to spend every waking hour combing Craigslist and buying the things sight unseen. Reply Ricer Treatment? Most cars I have seen on this board, even the swapped ones are tasteful. Feel free to go over to Jalopnik and sound off. |

That's so funny we got mentioned. Not Lil Evo, or even that one RRE/Colt that was Sport Compact Car...the whole damn forum lol. I just got done checking that out, and I have to agree with him 100%! Although, one may argue that his definition of 'ricy' may be skewed to meaning lowered, tinted, large-exhausted,bigger-rimmed imports. I think it's safe to say this forum is the home of the fanatics of this car genre.

Unlike a B16 or B18 honda. Go to a shop and trip on them like litter. They are sooo popular in this area and they all run stock honda parts. But wonder why they cant go faster than the car next to them with the same honda parts. Nothing against honda...just saying they are dime a dozen and arent any more 'pure' than the next engine swap. |
