They're definitely a nice mani. I've had mine for awhile, uncoated for a long time which got a slight case of surface rust, then a few coats of high heat silver paint from eastwood which lasted about 6 months until it rusted through and now about 15 coats of 2000* something I got off the shelf at autozone. I've got a heat shield for the mani but its the one with the aluminum bracket that warps. |

Mine should be here any minute, and my buddy John (http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=31378) ordered one on the same day. Hmm, no external wastegate provision; do they make a 700hp DSM flanged turbo with a wastegate on the turbine housing, or at least a spot for an external one? I didn't think about that before I called him and pointed out the sale. |

These manifolds are designed to work with the FP30 series of turbos, like the FP3052 and FP3065. Those turbos have a v-band provision on their turbine housing for an external wastegate. People have made right around 600whp on the FP3065, and that's basically pushing the outer limits of that turbo. There are probably other combinations that FP can build for you and still use that bolt-on housing though.
