I just checked my K Sport camber plates, they are offset just like the factory is.

That's one thing I really hate about my Yoshifab plates. They removed my caster.

Shawn J,

That is great information, thank you. K-Sport camber plates are factory offset, Yoshi fab are not offset to maintain factory caster.

Coltsfan,

Did you end up installing SuperPro bushings to your control arms? Which arms were used and which bushing part #'s?

Yes I used Superpro bushings for a base model, with base model arms. I don't recall the number off hand, but I can get it if you need it. They are the ones with no caster correction.

What are the negative qualities of removing caster/running yoshifab plates?

Steering issues. Coming out of corners at speed can be achieved better with more caster. Most racers run as much positive caster as they can get. I "think" it may have to do some returnablility after a turn but cannot remember if that is the TOOT angles mainly built in to the geometry of the knuckle.
Coltsfan, any thoughts?

Yes, plus better high speed stability with more positive caster.

FWIW, I never noticed any difference whatsoever when I swapped over to these camber plates, and I used to rail my car a lot through the twisties.

I does help bring the wheel back to center on it's own, but it really has more to do with how it plants the wheels into a corner. I autocross my car, and anything I can do to keep it from plowing into tight sharp turns is a big plus.

Thanks guys, Tonus I bought your old set-up from Cheaptalon and am debating on weather or not to leave the yoshifab plates in but since I'm just doing straight line for now I won't worry about it too much I guess. I just never noticed the Yoshifab plates were centered until I seen this thread.
